Aishatu Ahmed GOBIR is a Professor in the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health at the Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin, Ilorin.

She was the Head of the Department of Paediatrics, from 2017 to 2020. She was also the Provost, College of Medicine, Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila Orangun, from March, 2023- March, 2024.

Her current research is on Pulmonology and adolescent medicine.

She has over 50 publications in Scientific journals, book chapters, and special conference proceedings.
