Aishat Oluwatoyin BOLAKALE, is a Professor in the Department of Paediatrics and Child health, Faculty of clinical sciences, College of health sciences, University of Ilorin with over a decade of university teaching, postgraduate training, research, and administrative experience.
She has served as the Postgraduate Coordinator for Master and Ph.D, COBES supervisor for preclinical and clinical students College of Health sciences, Committee on COBES,
faculty of Clinical Science Representative at the Senate, Faculty representative of the University’s dress code committee, Faculty representative at the University advancement center and Chairperson induction committee of the College. She also served as the Deputy chairman medical advisory committee(DCMAC) and Chairman medical advisory committee(CMAC) of the University of Ilorin Teaching hospital.
She is the present Coordinator of the COBES unit of the College of Health Sciences at the University and also a member of the Senate of the University.
She has to her credit over seventy publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and chapters in books. She has successfully supervised over 15 postgraduate fellowship and students Masters dissertations theses. she has equally won a number of research grants. Her research interest includes nutritional disorders in children, community Paediatrics and hospital management. Professor Bolakale is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.
