Mohammed Baba ABDULKADIR is a Professor in the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin with about 14 years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
He has served as Coordinator of the Medical Education Resources Unit of the College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin. He is a Consultant Paediatrician with the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital. His areas of research interest cover Paediatric Cardiology, Paediatric Infectious Diseases, particularly malaria case management and therapeutic efficacy clinical trials; and health-seeking behaviour.
He has to his credit over seventy publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings, and chapters in books. He has successfully supervised over 1 Masters dissertation and 15 Fellowship theses. He has equally won several research grants. Prof Abdulkadir is a member of many professional bodies within Nigeria.
He is happily married with children. His hobbies include playing chess, reading and information technology systems design, deployment and use.
